Frederick Carder (English, 1863-1963) for Steuben Glass Works, Corning, New York, USA. Small gold Aurene iridescent art glass vase with a pale gold surface and a ruffled rim. Marked with the early engraved "Aurene" signature and the shape number along the underside. Further marked "R & F" along the underside. Aurene art glass was designed by Carder and produced by Steuben from 1903 to 1932.
