William S. Blake for Union Glass Company, Somerville, Massachusetts. Kew Blas art glass vase with a lobed rim decorated with an iridescent green and blue striped surface. Marked with the wide etched "KEW-BLAS" signature mark inside of the counter sunk polish pontil along the underside. Union Glass employee William Blake produced this line of art glass called Kew Blas, an anagram of the designer's name.
