James Houston (American, 1921-2005) for Steuben, United States. Crystal mushroom mounted with an 18K gold butterfly, ca. 1960s. The cap of the mushroom is molded with interior air bubbles, creating a whimsical toadstool effect. Incised mark "Steuben" along the underside. With fitted Steuben presentation box.
