Two 19th c. Russian sterling silver cigarette cases. Both with impressed 84 Kokoshnik marks, one with an assay mark dated 1896, and makers' marks. One case with a monogram along the recto and an inscription along the verso. One case with a scene of a horse-drawn carriage along the top and a monogram along the recto.

Smaller case; height: 7/8 in x width: 3 5/8 in x depth: 1 7/8 in. Bigger case; height: 1/2 in x width: 4 3/4 in x depth: 3 1/8 in. Gross weight of sterling: 8.410 Troy oz. Both cases are in generally good condition. Both cases have wear throughout as expected from their age and use. There is oxidation along the interior. There is a wear to the jewel in the larger case.
