Group of two 19th c. Russian silver niello cases; one with a foliate design and the other with a cityscape of Moscow. One monogrammed. Both with impressed Kokoshnik marks, one with an assay mark dated 1879, and makers' marks.

Condition
The items are in excellent condition; no visible dents or cracks. None of them show any sign of restoration under UV light. Along the interior, there is oxidation and light wear throughout.
