Japanese ko-seto chaire tea caddy of maratsubo (round) form, Edo period ca. 18th to early 19th century. With a later fitted copper lid and a string cut base. With a tomobako wooden storage box.

There are no major chips, cracks, losses, or repairs. Some light wear throughout. Light discoloration to the copper lid. No major dents or bend to the lid. Light wear to the box.
