Walter Quirt (American, 1902-1968). Large oil on canvas painting titled "Mountain Riders" depicting an abstract scene of figures riding horses, 1964. Signed along the lower left. Further signed and dated along the verso; titled along the stretcher.

Condition
No visible tears, creases, or losses. No visible sign of restoration under UV light. The color is bold and bright. The stretcher bar mark is visible along the lower margin. Craquelure began to form, particularly from the corners; please see the listing image. The left margin is not tightly attached to the frame. Wear to the frame. Clean verso.
