One group photograph depicting a postmaster's convention, ca. 1926. Inscribed "Postmaster's Convention, Curtis Hotel, June 18, 1926, Minneapolis, MN." Also included is a Rand McNally map, ca. 1920s, showing Minnesota with close-up views of Hennepin and Ramsey counties as well as Cook county. The map is affixed to a canvas backing.

Condition

The photo is kept rolled and has wear along the margins; there are creases throughout and pinholes along the margins. The edges are browned. To the center of the left margin, there is an approximate 4 inches long tear as shown in the listing image; from the verso, it is visible that at one point it was repaired with tape. Along the verso, there is toning and soiling. The envelope of the map is heavily toned and has tears along the edges; please see the listing image; water damage to the left; soiling throughout the recto and verso. The map is toned and has browning along the margins; to the upper right corner, there is 1/2 inch folded crease; along the verso, the sheet is toned and has browning along the folded creases; along the margins, there is like fabric skimming. No visible sign of restoration under UV light.
