Large map of Ramsey and Washington counties in Minnesota. With portions of Anoka, Dakota, Hennepin, St. Croix, and Pierce counties. Published in 1886 by Warner and Foote in Minneapolis. Engraved by F. William Bracher.

This map was published by George E. Warner (1826-1917) and Charles M. Foote (1849- 1899) who were writers of many county and city histories in Minnesota. F. William Bracher (1827-1912) was born in Wurtenberg, Germany and arrived in Philadelphia by 1850. He was a stone lithographic printer. He worked independently from 1879 to his retirement in 1891 at 31 S 6th St., Philadelphia, the address on on this map. He produced many regional maps of American locales.

Copies of this map are found in the Hennepin County Library, the Library of Congress, the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee Library, the New York Public Library, and the University of Minnesota Map Library.

Height: 72 in x width: 64 in. The map is rolled and somewhat fragile. There is water exposure throughout, visible in the lot listing. The sheet is toned and some of the colors are faded. There are tears throughout.
