Gorham Manufacturing Co., United States. Fine sterling silver flatware set in the "Chantilly" pattern, introduced in 1895. Including: sixteen knives, twelve butter knives, fourteen soup spoons, eleven lunch forks, seven dinner forks, ten dessert spoons, twelve teaspoons, six tablespoons, and twelve pieces of serving ware.
Provenance: Stanton L. Catlin, former director of the Center for Inter-American Relations; thence by descent.
Gross weight of sterling (not including 31 sterling-handled knives and 2 sterling-handled serving ware items): 84.73 Troy oz.
Light wear, scratches, and tarnishing overall. Some very small dents. No major bends or breaks to any tines.
