Pierre-Joseph Redoute (Beligan, 1759-1840). Botanical lithograph depicting a yellow tulip or "Tulipa Gesneriana/Tulipe des Jardins. Var. Jaune-rouge" flower. Signed in plate along the lower left; titled in plate along the lower center; "Lemaire sculp." along the lower right. This flower is also called a Didier's tulip or garden tulip.

Condition
There are no visible rips, losses, or restorations. The sheet is lightly toned and there is a slight undulation throughout. Small areas of foxing throughout. There are horizontal lines of toning along the upper half of the work, only slightly visible. Light wear to the frame; framed under plexiglass; not inspected out of frame.
