Demarchelier began photographing friends and weddings after he was gifted an Eastman Kodak camera by his stepfather. He discovered fashion photography after following his girlfriend to New York City in 1975. He worked as a freelance photographer for Elle, Marie Claire, and 20 Ans Magazine. His intimate portraits of Princess Diana helped establish her popularity and accessible public image. He has shot for international campaigns for brands like Dior, Louis Vuitton, Celine, TAG Heuer, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Moschino, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, among many more.

Condition
The print is in good overall condition. There is a light crease along the corner of the upper left corner. A light handling mark along the right, approximately three inches from the edge, towards the middle. The artwork is hinged with framer's tape along the upper left and right edge. Framed behind glass; some light wear to the frame.
