Mike Perry (American, b. 1981). Watercolor on paper painting depicting a rainbow burst of lines from a central point on the sheet, 2010. Signed and dated along the lower right. Perry is known for his colorful artworks that often utilize pop culture references and collaborative projects. He is also known for winning a Primetime Emmy Award for his work on the Comedy Central show "Broad City." where he created title cards. He studied at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design (MCAD).

Provenance: from the collection of an important Minnesota institution.

Unframed; height: 24 in x width: 18 in. Framed; height: 27 3/4 in x width: 21 3/4 in.

Condition

The painting is in excellent condition with no visible tears, creases, or losses. It's floating on the frame. The color is bold and bright. When inspected under UV light, there is no visible sign of restoration. Light wear to the lower left of the glass. Framed under plexiglass. Light wear to the frame.
