Leonard Tsuguharu Foujita, (Japanese/French, 1886-1968). Collotype on paper depicting a seated kitten, 1929. Signed and dated in plate along the lower left; printed "Made in France" along the lower right. From "A Book of Cats," this print accompanied the poem "Ahinoam."

Condition

There are no major tears or losses. There is a crease running vertically down the lower left quadrant, measuring approximately 3 inches long. Directly above the crease there is a minute loss to the sheet. There is small crease/loss along the margin of the upper left quadrant. The sheet is lightly toned, in particular around the edges of the sheet. There is a minute tear and spot of discoloration along the extreme edge of the lower left corner. There are several small spots along the middle of the right margin. No signs of restoration under UV light. Not framed.
