Livio de Marchi (Italian, b. 1943) Large carved and painted paintbrush sculpture. de Marchi is well known for his large scale carved sculptures which include working cars and trompe-l'oeil fabric draped tables. Signed along the lower end of the handle.

Condition
No visible cracks or signs of restoration under UV light. There is a loss to the upper part of the red brush, measuring 1 inch. To the tip of it, there is another loss; please see the listing image. Along the outcarved areas of the brush, there are minute losses that do not significantly alter the overall appearance of the paintbrush. Along the recessed areas, dust collected.
