Countess Isabelle De Borchgrave d'Altena (born Isabelle Jeanne Marie Alice Jacobs) (Belgian, b. 1946). Painted wood, paper, and metal. Sculpture depicting paintbrush storage with a painted parrot. Signed along a piece of tape affixed to the verso of the parrot. The parrot is attached via a wire and can be detached.

Condition
Light wear throughout. The sheet of the parrot is toned. There are small creases and handling marks along the edges of the parrot. A piece of tape affixed to the verso of the parrot has been torn and the name is partially legible. The metal base to which the artwork is affixed is very patinated and worn.
