Kristof Slanina (1899-1978). St. Paul, MN WPA painted wood folk art Christmas nativity scene with hinged panels. Signed along the center lower left. Marked "WPA Handicraft Dist. 3 717" along the verso. Slanina was a St. Paul artist, porcelain china decorator, and very involved in Minnesota's WPA Program.
