The Tsuka (hilt) of the sword is wrapped in a brown cloth which forms diamond-shaped openings. Three metal ornaments with cherry blossom designs are visible in these diamond openings. The tsuba is decorated with a cherry blossom band with a rayed design on the top and underside. Marked on the top of the pommel.
