Italian Venetian Murano glass chess set infused with gold leaf. One half of the set in white and the other half of the set in black. With a glass chess board.

Condition
There is wear and scratching along each piece, mainly located along the underside; consistent with age and use. There are a few minute chips scattered throughout the set. The most notable issues are as follows: to one white knight there is a crack that extends across the base; one white rook has been broken off the base and has numerous losses to the decoration - some broken off pieces are included; to one white rook there is a large loss to the skirt decoration and the finial is missing; to the white queen there is a small piece of her crown broken and missing and her hair has been repaired - it appears to have been broken off and glued back on; to the white king there is a large crack along his hair that appears to have been broken off and glued back on and where the hair was broken off there is a missing section of his collar; to a black bishop it appears that the top third was broken off and reattached and there is a visible crack that extends throughout that area; to the black king there is a section of his collar missing just below his head.
