Henrietta Dunn Mears (American, 1877-1970). Watercolor on paper painting depicting yellow tulips and blue irises. Pencil signed along the lower right. Mears was active and lived in St. Paul, Minnesota. She studied at the St. Paul Institute, which is a predecessor to both the Minnesota Museum of American Art (The M) and the Science Museum of Minnesota. Additionally, she exhibited at the Minnesota State Fair in 1927.

Condition
There are no visible rips, losses, or restorations. The sheet is toned and there is acid burn. The mat it is framed under appears to be acidic. There is a slight undulation to the sheet. Light wear to the frame; framed under glass; not inspected out of frame.
