Group of three American decorated Art Deco era satsuma pottery vessels, including one small blue and teal lidded bowl, marked "P. Purnquist. Made in Japan" along the underside; one lidded bowl with blue teal, pink, yellow, orange, and gold decorations, marked "Obannon" along the underside of the lid; and one large dish set on three feet decorated with a griffin along the inside, marked with a "$" symbol along the underside.
Japanese ceramic blanks were in use around WWI when European blanks were hard to come by. American hand decorated china was a popular hobby found around 1890-1920s.
