Charles Schulz (American, 1922-2000). Ink sketch on a china saucer plate. The sketch depicts Snoopy dressed as "The Flying Ace" lying atop his doghouse with a thought bubble reading "I've often [illegible] a girl like Cindi to be my private stewardess, she's service minded!" Possibly faintly signed along the lower right.
Provenance: the consigner's aunt, Cindi (the name inscribed on the plate), was given this plate by Charles Schulz at the Clayton Inn in St. Louis where she used to work at when she was 27 years old.

Condition
The plate is free from cracks, losses, or restorations. The drawing is heavily faded from age and use. The quote is heavily faded and there are areas that are difficult to read. Some discoloration along the face of the plate.
