Brady & Ryan, Ellenville, New York. Stoneware ceramic pottery salt glazed crock decorated with a hand painted bird along the side, ca. 1885. Impressed faintly with the number 2 along the side above the bird. With a cylindrical body and two handles.
Height: 9 1/2 in x diameter: 10 in. The crock is in generally good condition; no major chips, cracks, or dents. No visible chips to the rim; there is minute white accretion to the rim. There are some minute chips to the interior. Light wear throughout, consistent with its age and use. No visible chips to the footrim; there is a 1/2 inch accretion to its underside.
