Group of five European items including: one Royal Vienna porcelain inkwell, marked along the underside; two silver knives with floral and coat of arms decoration along the blades; one sterling silver French case, possibly a matchstick or pill box or lipstick case, marked along the interior; one sterling silver bell, marked along the handle.
(Silver case) height: 3 1/2 in x width: 5 3/4 in x depth: 5 in. (Bell) heigh: 5 in x diameter: 2 1/4 in. (Knives and inkwell) length ranges from 4 1/2 in to 7 1/2 in; width ranges from 1 in to 3/4 in. The items are in good condition in general. As shown in the listing image, metal components show erosion. No chips or cracks to the handle of the knives. No visible dents to metal components. The porcelain does not have major chips; there is a minute chip to the underside of the smallest box; wear throughout. Gilding along the edges has several scattered areas of loss. As shown in the listing image, the underside of the inner box has an approx. 3 1/2 inch long crack; along the interior, there is another crack measuring 1 1/4 in. Wear to the underside, consistent with age and use. There is an adhesive residue along the underside, measuring 2 3/4 in. When inspected under UV light, there is no visible sign of restoration.
