Set of three Russian enamel silver including a bucket resting on three ball feet, a pierced spoon, and a sugar cube tongs. The bucket and ladle are both marked with the assay mark of Lev Fridrikhovitch Oleks, 1889; 84 zolotnik; Moscow city mark; and a GK maker's mark. The tongs are marked with a different assay mark for Anatoly Apollonovich Artsybashev, Moscow, illegible year.

Provenance: Property from the distinguished collection of Mr. James Lee Soffer, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Condition

There are no bends, breaks, dents, major losses, or restorations when inspected under UV light. Light wear throughout and light scratching consistent with age and use. The handle of the basket moves smoothly on the hinges. There are a few minute losses to the enamel throughout, most notably along the top of the tongs.
