Three East Coast redware stoneware ceramic pottery vessels. One bowl and jar with daubs of manganese decoration throughout. One jar with mottled orange and green glaze.
Height ranges from 3 in to 6 1/4 in; diameter ranges from 4 1/4 in to 11 1/4 in.
The orange jar and the green jar are in good condition in general. Both have wear throughout. The orange jar, captured left in lot listing, has multiple minute chips along its rim; there is a minute chip on its underside; there is a 1 3/4 inch residue along the underside; crazing beginning to form from its rim. The green jar, captured right, has 5 minute chips to the side, the biggest chip being 1/4 inch long. The bowl has multiple losses throughout the piece; there is a network of glazing loss; there is a 3 inch long crack and a 1 inch crack to the side; along the rim, there is a white residue that measures 3/4 inch; there are multiple losses to the rim; there are two 1/4 inch cracks near the footrim; there is a loss in glazing that shows underneath stoneware. All three pieces show wear along their underside, consistent with their age and use. None of them show a sign of restoration when inspected under UV light. The purchaser’s obligation to pay immediately the full purchase price is absolute and unconditional and is not subject to any defenses, setoffs or counterclaims of any kind whatsoever. Revere Auctions is not obligated to release a lot to the purchaser until title to the lot has passed. The purchaser agrees to pay Revere Auctions handling charge of $30 for any check dishonored by the drawee.
SHIPPING
Revere Auctions does NOT offer in-house shipping. As a convenience to the Buyer, Revere Auctions will make a referral for packing and shipping. This is at the request, expense, and risk of the Buyer, and Revere Auctions assumes no responsibility for the items or the timing of delivery. Insurance for in transit items is the responsibility of the buyer. The buyer must reach out to a shipping company to arrange shipping.
