Baccarat, France. Vintage crystal glass sculpture in the form of a lion. Marked along the underside.
Height: 4 3/4 in x width: 10 1/2 in x depth: 3 in.
There is a minute chip to the nose of the lion; there is an area of restoration, measuring 1/2 inch, to the tip of the tail where there was a chip that has been affixed back on. To the back of the hindlimb, there is an area with adhesive accretion that can be easily cleaned. Along the underside there are three felt tabs affixed; one tab is missing and there is residual adhesive.
