Tom Bianchi (American, b. 1945). Large mixed media and foam core sculpture titled "Tromba Marina" depicting a marine trumpet or nuns' fiddle from the "Instruments" series, 1982. Signed, titled, and dated along the verso. Bianchi is perhaps more well-known for his male nude photography in and around New York City.

No major cracks or losses. No visible sign of restoration under UV light. The color is bold and bright. Wear throughout. Along the edges, there are several areas of paint loss, particularly to the top part, there is an area of crack; please see the listing image. Along the back of the sculpture, there are original paint residues throughout. All parts are firmly attached to it.
