The-Merger (Cuban, est. 2009). Large stainless steel sculpture titled "Carta De Triunfo" depicting a hand with a mirror-like finish holding a red Ace of Hearts playing card, 2016. The playing card has a mirror cut-out of the skyline of New York City. The-Merger is a contemporary collaboration group between Cuban artists Alain Pino, Niels Moleiro, and Mario Miguel Gonzalez (Mayito). They are best known for their metal sculptures which take iconic artistic objects and transcribe them into the third dimension.
