Steve Kaufman (American, 1960-2010). Screenprint on canvas titled "George Washington, Father of Our Nation" depicting the profile of the United State's first president as he appears on the one dollar bill. Signed along the verso. Kaufman is well known for his association with Andy Warhol and the Pop Art movement.

Height: 20 in x width: 20 in. No visible tears, creases, or restoration under UV light. The color is bold and bright, and the surface is stable. To the upper and lower right corners, there is wear. Along the right side of the recto, there are light pen marks; please see the listing image. Along the verso, there is a pen inscription along the lower right; along the upper center, there are four handling marks that are visible in the listing image.
