Salvador Dali (Spanish, 1904-1989). Suite of 75 wood engravings in color in three volumes titled "The Divine Comedy," created between 1960 and 1964 after watercolors painted between 1951 and 1960. Published by Les Heures Claires, Paris. Housed in three original cloth-covered boards and slipcases. Inspired by the poem of the same name written by Dante Alighieri (1265-1321).
(Each Volume) Height: 17 1/2 in x width: 13 1/2 in x depth: 2 1/4 in.
The original suite contains 100 engravings. However, this lot has only 75, two of which are unmatted. Please contact us for a detailed condition report.
