Rogerson for Edison Gruber, United States. One late twentieth century 14 karat yellow gold scrimshaw bolo tie on brown woven leather. The bone scrimshaw containing the image of a bear and rabbit is mounted in a gold picture frame designed to look like wooden logs. The tips of the leather tie have gold pinecone shaped caps. Impressed maker's mark "EG" along the reverse of the picture frame. Impressed hallmark "14KP" along the reverse of the picture frame. Applied maker's mark "Rogerson 93" preceded by a triangle along the lower portion of scrimshaw.
