Fortuny, Italy. Pair of Cesendello floor lamps from an original design by Mariano Fortuny (Spanish, 1871-1949). Each features a silk shade with a spiraling form and scrolling decoration. One shade retains the original tassel. Each on a bamboo stand, decorated with textile elements, tassels, and gilt metal fittings.
Red detailing; Height: 69 in x width: 15 in x depth: 8 in. Metal detailing; Height: 70 in x width: 13 1/2 in x depth: 8 in.
Heavy wear with several losses to the shades. One shade lacks the ring which attaches it to the base.
