Set of two 19th century Indian metal spice boxes with peacock finial. Largest is missing hinge pin for lid, bent, numerous dents and scratches, evidence of use and wear, retains much of the original gilding. Smallest with copious dents and wear, top broken from base and failed epoxy repair, retains some of the original gilding. Larger; height: 8 1/2 in x diameter: 7 1/4 in. Smaller; height: 7 in x diameter: 6 in.
