Japanese wooden cabinet with inlay portraying leaf-like forms and geometric marquetry throughout the surface, particularly along the doors of the cabinet, Meiji era. With incised fittings depicting foliate motifs. The doors swing open to reveal a series of six drawers, each with a unique marquetry design.
Height: 12 in x width: 12 in x depth: 6 1/2 in.

The two front doors are slightly loose. There are some missing or replaced nails throughout. Some loose decorative elements. One small drawer with a split along the interior bottom. The back of the cabinet with a split running horizontally through the center. Light wear throughout. The bottom skirt is not attached.
