Burris Jenkins Jr. (American, 1897-1966). Original graphite and ink political cartoon comic drawings. Each inscribed "1st Edition" and either Monday or Wednesday along the lower margin.
One titled "To the Rescue" depicting a woman on a board at sea surrounded by sharks. The woman is labeled "Dominican Republic," two sharks are marked with the hammer and sickle, a third shark is labeled "Dictatorship," smoke from a distant ship is labeled "Rafael Trujillo Jr.," and a life saver thrown from a platform labeled U.S. is labaled "Political Freedom."
One titled "The Dam's Busted" depicted a hastily thrown sign labeled "Stop Goldwater" as a dam begins to burst.
One titled "Riding Together" depicting two figures on an airplane or bus. The man's briefcase is labeled "Dag Hammarskjold" and the woman is labeled "Our Hopes."Height ranges from 9 3/4 in to 13 1/4 in; width ranges from 9 in to 9 3/4 in.

No major tears, creases, or losses. The sheets are lightly toned. The margins are lightly soiled and discolored. Along the verso there is soiling, discoloration, and pieces of paper adhered. None are framed.
