Group of eight periodicals and journals containing reproductions of or related to Edward Curtis (American, 1868-1952). Including:
Three copies of "Camera" printed in December 1973.
One "Scientific American" printed January 24th, 1903.
One "Cramer's Manual of Negative Making," the edition of photo manual Curtis is said to have used.
One copy of "The Mountain That Was 'God'" by John H. Williams. First edition, 1910.
One "The Herb Quarterly" printed July 1979, with "Apache Mezcal Harvest" by Edward Curtis within.
One "The Mentor" printed March 1921, containing Curtis images.
Provenance: From the Estate of Christopher Cardozo.
Height ranges from 6 in to 16 in; width ranges from 3 1/2 in to 11 1/2 in.
Wear associated with age throughout. No major losses. Some fading to the covers. The "Mountain That Was 'God'" with discoloration to the suede cover.
