Chinese Republic PRC porcelain vase decorated with a bird perched amongst flowering branches. A second bird swoops downwards. With four lines of calligraphy painted along the sides. With a six-character Qianlong mark in underglaze blue along the bottom.
Height: 8 in x diameter: 4 in. No visible chips, cracks, or losses. No visible sign of restoration under UV light. Very light wear throughout. There are a few scattered areas where the color glazing has faded. No chips to the rim and footrim. The footrim is lightly toned. Along the interior, there are accretions adhered to the underside.
