Large and unusual Chinese PRC cloisonne figure depicting an ox immortal in a flowing blue robe. The robe decorated with bats flying through clouds and an auspicious symbol along the back.
Height: 14 3/4 in x width: 7 3/4 in x depth: 4 1/2 in.
Wear throughout the item. Oxidation to metal components. Dust has collected on the surface. There are a few scattered areas that have lost enamel, particularly to the right hand. All facial features are firmly attached to the face; no losses to the horn or other facial features. There is a dent to the left ear and the nose of the ox. To the left side of the neck, there is a gap measuring 1 inch; however, it does not seem to be a crack. There is a loss to the left foot; please see listing image. There are cracks along the right foot. Along the underside, there are dents; however, it does not affect the sturdiness of the item. There is also an adhesive residue adhered to the underside of the item.
