After Qi Baishi (Chinese, 1864-1957). Chinese scroll painting in ink on paper of bamboo, depicting two hanging branches that stretch across the hanging scroll in the shape of a loose, sinuous ìSî. Although both branches are constructed with almond-shaped, wet splashes of ink, the artist has used two distinct tonalities of ink to give the impression of depth. Signed with two seals of the artist.
