Alexis Jean Fournier (American, 1864-1948), "The Homes of the Men of 1830" New York: William Schaus, 1910. Inscribed by the author on the first page: "To my friend Clyde Smith, with the compliments of the author. Alexis Jean Fournier, Painter, April 14th, 1910." This was a collection of paintings on view at the Schaus Art Galleries in New York from March 16th to April 16th, 1910.
