Albrecht Durer (German, 1471-1528). Engraving on paper titled "St. Sebastian Tied to a Tree," depicting the saint's martyrdom. The exquisite linework and moving quality of the scene are characteristic of Durer's work. Signed in the plate along the tree branch.
