19th century Chinese silk robe embroidery fragment. Depicting a symmetrical pattern of lovely pink peonies amid blue and white blossoms. With accents in teal and black. Bordered by a black band with silver flowers and scrollwork.
Sight; height: 24 3/4 in x width: 13 1/4 in. Framed; height: 25 1/2 in x width: 14 in x depth: 1 in.
There are no major stains or loose threads. Some possible lost stitches along the black shapes along the lower edge. Some fading to the colors throughout. Not inspected out of frame. Framed under glass. Light wear to the frame.
