Zuni Petit Point Silver Turquoise Concha Belt

One late twentieth century Southwest Native American Zuni made silver and turquoise Petit point concha belt. The belt is comprised of twelve silver oval sections, each containing 115 bezel set oval turquoise cabochons and five round bezel set oval turquoise cabochons. The buckle is oval shaped and holds 197 bezel set oval turquoise cabochons and five round bezel set turquoise cabochons. The buckle and sections are connected with 17 millimeter silver jump rings. Hand engraved maker's mark "B.T. Zuni 1970" along the reverse of buckle.
