Willy Daro (French, 20th c). Brass coffee table in the form of a bonsai tree. With an oval plate glass top.
Glass Top; height: 49 in x width: 37 in. Base; height: 16 in x width: 37 in x depth: 20 1/2 in.
Wear throughout, particularly along the base and the underside. The glass top does not have any visible chips, cracks, or losses; however, it has multiple surface stretches consistent with use. In addition, there are a few scattered accretions adhered to the surface, which can be easily cleaned. The base does not have any major dents or losses that would alter the overall appearance of the item. Along the underside, there are multiple scattered areas with dents as expected from use and age; please see the listing image. No visible sign of restoration under UV light.
