Warren MacKenzie was a renowned Minnesota studio potter. A student of Bernard Leach and Shoji Hamada, he is credited with bringing the functional Mingei tradition to the United States, and spreading it through his own art and mentorship of students during his long tenure at the University of Minnesota.Height: 6 3/4 in x diameter: 7 in.
Condition
The pot is in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or dents. When inspected under UV light, there is no sign of restoration. No crazing. There are some minor firing flaws throughout.
