Wang Jiyuan (Chinese, 1893-1975). Watercolor on paper depicting a pot of pansies. With an inscription and Wang's red seal mark along the right edge. A handwritten label from Mrs. Milton B. Euleau is adhered along the verso, which reads "(Purchased & painted in 1966) Watercolor by Prof. Yuan, Professor at Chinese & American Art Gallery, 399-E. 72nd." An advertisement for these painting classes is additionally adhered along the verso.
