Oil on canvas painting in the style of Jackson Pollock (American, 1912-1956). Similar to his abstract expressionist drip technique works. In a multitude of colors with orange and white showing through the strongest. Unsigned or possibly illegibly signed along the top of stretcher along the verso.
Sight; height: 36 in x width: 39 in. Framed; height: 38 in x width: 41 in.
Condition
There are no signs of restorations or tears. The painting has craquelure throughout. There are areas where the paint layer has started to cup. Several areas with chips and losses. Wear and soiling to the verso including one large area of vertical green accretions, possibly paint. The canvas along the extreme edges along the verso has started to fray, though this does not affect the recto. Wear to the frame.
