Vintage 1960s Beni Ourain Berber wool shag rug in white with black diamonds. From the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. With a braided fringe along two sides.
Length: 12 ft 5 in x width: 6 ft 7 in. The rug is in generally good condition. There are a few areas of staining along the underside that do not affect the top. There is some unevenness to the edges and evidence of repairs. There is one semi-circular loss to one edge that has been repaired. Losses and wear to the tassels. The pile is fairly good and there is no evidence of thinning to the surface. Light dirt and dust accumulated to the rug.
