Labels affixed to verso from M. Nakazawa, Tokyo, Japan, with a label dated October 27, 1969 commemorating the gift of the painting to then Vice President Hubert H. Humphrey from Professor K. Takeda, the president of the Japan Pharmaceutical Association.
